Vision Drive is an award-winning fast-growing company which operates across the UK delivering vehicles to the automotive sector. As part of our rapid growth plans, we are recruiting for an Accounts Administrator to join our newly established company finance department.
Location: Nettleham (LINCOLN)
Type: Full time/permanent
Salary: £16,500-£19,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week Monday-Friday with a paid 30-minute lunch break
Holiday: 21 days, plus bank holidays
– Must have experience working in an accounts/payroll position.
– Must be proficient with Microsoft Office
– Experience with Xero preferred but not essential
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a long-standing career with the ability to progress and develop as the company grows, if desired.
The candidate must be able to operate under own supervision and work well within a small team. Due to the nature of the role, discretion and respect for sensitive information is essential. Attention to detail is a must, as the candidate will be expected to work with multiple transactions on a regular basis.
Sales and purchase ledger; the accurate, timely and proficient entry of data for both purchase and sales invoices, reconciling invoices, raising concerns where necessary and liaising with the relevant parties to resolve.
Tight credit control management; checking and issuing statements of account where required, liaising with customers, suppliers and subcontractors regarding account and payment status.
Cash book administration; including credit card transaction entry and bank reconciliation. Ensuring that company expense receipts are collected and filed correctly.
Ad-hoc tasks e.g. posting or cashing cheques, willing to answer the phone and assist with filing.
